Mic Cheque privacy policy

This page is a translation. In case of any difference, the Dutch version applies.

Mic Cheque is the app in which you follow your own shows, fees, statements and approvals as an artist or team member.

1. Who is responsible

For its own artist and team administration, the act or organisation running the Mic Cheque account is in principle the controller. Future Money Entertainment B.V. provides the technology and processes that data on their instruction. For its own account, subscription and security administration, Future Money Entertainment B.V. may itself be the controller.

2. What data we process

  • Your name, email address, secured login details and role in the act.
  • Shows, bookings, venues, promoters, deal types and agreed fees.
  • Fees, costs, commissions, statements, splits and payment status.
  • Approvals, objections, authorisations and the audit trail of changes.
  • Your language choice and the technical security data we cannot do without.

We do not process location history, address books or data for advertising and tracking. With biometric confirmation, the device only records whether the check succeeded; your face or fingerprint never leaves the device.

3. Why we process it

To carry out the agreements between you and your office, to meet administrative and tax obligations, and to keep a reliable audit trail when figures differ.

4. Who sees what

You see your own data. The artist can see the fee, costs and split of the act; a team member sees only their own fee. Your office sees the administration it manages. Someone you authorise sees only the scope you chose.

5. Retention

Your office sets the retention periods. Administration, invoices, approvals and the accompanying audit trail are usually kept for seven years. Your login remains until you have it removed or the collaboration ends.

6. Storage and security

Data is held on servers within the European Economic Area. Traffic runs over TLS and your login token is kept in the secure storage of your device.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. In the app you can download your data and request deletion. Without the app you can also submit a request via Account and data deletion.

Data that must be kept by law, such as invoices and settlements, cannot be destroyed straight away. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

8. Changes

When something changes we publish a new version here with an updated date.
